Information about Dutch Youth Camps and Homestay 2025

Three Youth Camps

In 2025, from Sunday July 20 to Wednesday July 30, in three regions of the Netherlands a youth camp will be organised, combined with a homestay period before the camps. Each of these youth camps will show you a different part of the Netherlands, with its own nature, culture and way of living.

  • You can not apply for only the camp or only the homestay, it's always the combination of both!

Each camp has it's own theme.

You can choose from:

  • 'Dutch River Camp'/ 110BZ
  • 'Lekker Dutch' / 110BN
  • 'Bike Like The Dutch' /110CW.

If you want to apply for one of these camps, please mention the theme of choise in your application. All camps offer general activities like teambuilding, outdoor challenges, a visit to Amsterdam and other places of interest. And offcourse some of the activities will relate to the theme of the camp.

 Homestay

  • For Europeans, is from Saturday July 12 to Sunday July 20. You will be guest of one family.
  • For Overseas, is from Saturday July 5 to Sunday July 20. You will be guest of two families.

Departure for all will be only 30st of July 2025

Rules (basic conditions to be met to allow for participation)

  • Age: you are 17 to 20 years old at July 1, 2025
  • Language: You speak and understand English well. A Whatsapp video call can be part of the acceptance procedure.
  • Camp fee: Your contribution tot the camp and homestay is €100,- (to pay with application). The costs for your flight you have to cover too.
  • Number of participants: max 25 people each camp (staff not included).

Country presentations
At camp country presentations will be held in the evenings. All campers have to introduce their own country and culture in the form of a short presentation with photo’s. They have to prepare this before leaving for Holland, and take it with them in an electronic format.

Clothing advise: basics are a swimming suit, a warm sweater, and a raincoat. The weather can vary from 16 to 30 degrees celsius in our country.
